Walking under rain and snow

Hello everyone !

Yesterday was quite an awesome evening ! Although it only was Wednesday, I went to bed at almost 5am (things that I obviously don't usually do). This happened because, every week, there's an event in Perugia, at the 110 café, which is the central café for the biggest part of the universities here. It is called the ''Wednesday Rock'' and half of the evening there's a band playing on the main stage, followed by the DJ set with different kind of music. I went there for the first time, and I can't wait for next week to be back again !

Anyway, today I want to share with you some pictures I took last Saturday and Sunday. Differently from my average weekend routine, on the 31st I left at 3pm with my scout group, and we went by train to Spoleto, a city in my region, not too far from where I live but that I've never really visited. When I was a gymnast I used to have a couple of competitions every year in the local sports hall, but that was it. Half day in the gym and than back to Assisi.
When we arrived it immediately started raining. Covering ourselves and our backpacks as much as we could, we started walking on the Spoleto - Norcia. It's a really nice path because it is an old railroad who connected the two cities above. I had the occasion to walk half of it a couple of time, but on Saturday we decided to leave the path because we thought it was time to, in order to change path and take the one that was going to lead us to Campello, the small and lovely city where we already called and ''booked'' a room. When I say a room, a literally mean a room, not a proper bedroom. We only need a roof and, if it's possible, something that will warm us up during winter time.

Truth is that we didn't have to leave the Spoleto-Norcia railroad, or at least not on the point in which we did. At 6.30pm was still raining, was dark and we arrived in Eggi (another lovely small village). We luckily found another room there and we decided to have dinner and sleep there, and to arrive in Campello the day after, although this meant that we were going to do +7km the day after. And so we did, waking up at 5.30am.

On sunday morning it was raining again, but around 8am it started snowing. Although to walk with snow it's quite complex and it's colder...it was totally worth it.
We arrived in Campello, had lunch and the possibility to dry our clothes and warm up a little bit. Than we left again and walked without pause, and at 7pm we reached Trevi, our final destination.

Sorry for the poor quality of the picture, but I forgot my Canon at home, so I could only use my phone to take. pictures. Hope you liked this blog post and, for those of you who like walking and who may have the possibility to come around my area, I highly recommend you the ''Sentiero degli Ulivi'' (The path of olives - literally) and the Spoleto-Norcia old railroad. Have a nice weekend !

New haircut .

HeyHey
Yes...I finally did it...I got an haircut !! To cut my hair has always been a dramatic experience for me, since when I was 13, when i realized I always had short hair.
I did the so called ''shatush'', so the discoloration of my hair, two years ago, and I was happy of the result, they turned out in a really good way. Than, in November I cut my hair a little bit (just the tips that got ruined during summer) and I did the discoloration again, at the same saloon. Unfortunately this time I turned out as a Barbie! It was really hard for me at the beginning to get used to that ''light yellow!'' (because they turned more yellow than blonde) but at the end I got used to it and I didn't even notice how much that treatment ruined my hair!
The other day, more precisely on Wednesday, my mum took me with her to the new hairdresser she goes to, that is way better than the woman who turned my hair in yellow (in my mum's opinion). And I have to admit that...she was right.
The tips of my hair has been cut out, and the hairdresser also trimmed them (not sure if this verb is the correct one), to make them less heavy, and I also wanted to try this fringe that I saw on a french girl I met in cruise few years ago. The biggest change is in my hair color though. It's impossible to remove that yellow effect, so it has been covered with this hair dye that nourish and repair my hair, and of course gives them the same blonde effect...but in a proper tone this time!

I'm back from Budapest and Prague .

HeyHey
How are you all ? I'm so tired because of the flight-bus trip back home we did yesterday evening, and Saturday (so today) was not enough to recover because we walked so much during the past week, we had to wake up around 7 so yeah, I needed to sleep as much as i could ! But i can definitely say that the ice cream I had with my friends this afternoon fully recharged me !
This is a short summary of my last school trip that, I need to say in advance, I enjoyed a lot ! Next year I'll miss all my school mates for sure.

We left on Monday morning and, with the bus, we arrived in Pisa where we took an airplane for Budapest and we arrived at the Tulip Inn Millenium (that was not a nice hotel, in my opinion), where we slept for two nights. We went in the center for an hour or something in the evening, but the proper visit of the city was done the day after. On Tuesday evening i had a really big beer that was sooo good!

On Wednesday morning we left and, after 7 hours of bus, we finally arrived in Prague. The hotel was definitely better, check it out here, and also the food was really nice: we had all the dinners in a close restaurant that is associated with the hotel, some of us didn't think it was decent but I personally found it good, in terms of food taste. We visited Prague the days after. I had already been there 5 years ago, or something like that, with my family but I didn't remember half of the things I saw and visited this week, also Prague is one of those city you can't get tired off. As we did, many other Italian schools were there in their school trip and it was fun to meet new people, especially because we were a group of 22 girls and one guy, so let's admit that we had many guys groups around us ahah . On Saturday afternoon we left again with the bus and we had our flight back home. We arrived in Rome and than we took the bus to reach my city.

I had so much fun. Travelling, as I said many times, it's the best thing in the world. I loved every single moments there and I'm sad I'm back home, not because I don't like my life here but I'm constantly looking for a life-change experience abroad !
I bought many things during the trip plus all the orders I did on the internet arrived, so I can definitely say that my next blog posts will be hauls.

Hope you enjoyed reading about my travel. Comment below telling me about your school trips or your impressions about those two city (If you've been there) and stay tune on Flickr because I'll upload soon some pictures  :)
